The city of Puyallup will take its first look at a proposed moratorium on recreational marijuana as the Washington State Liquor Control Board works to finalize regulations on the sale and production of the product.

The Puyallup City Council will discuss the issue at its regular meeting Tuesday night, reviewing a proposal to temporarily ban production, processing and selling of marijuana and marijuana-infused products within the city limits.
